@BeYourPotential Thanks for the reply, I’ve been trying it for a few days now. It feels good. Keep up the videos, they’re refreshing! Peace from Ireland!
Here’s my intuition: If someone is charging me $12,000 to attend a “spiritual warrior” workshop, what they’re doing is practicing “spiritual materialism.” That’s all this stuff is. It’s about money disguised as “abundance” and “love.” If I pay $12,000 at a retreat, I expect to be in a safe environment, not one that was negligently built (way too hot) and sit there after I just deprived myself of eating/drinking/sleeping. I expect the person I paid money to is conducting it lawfully.
Matthew you’ve a v good way of explaining things when u say what not to do as well as clearly what TO do… wisdom, and Victoria, you spoke wise excellent words too 🙂
wise words my friends. thank u. will share a little later 🙂
@SleepIsMagic Very interesting, I did not know that! Thanks.
@rohesleben That would be wonderful Armin. We look forward to seeing you. let us know when you will be coming!
@SibelCatana It can help balance to look at the hand and you can also look at the horizon. There is nothing specified about this in the original teachings.
@johnnymeagher This is how the teachings were passed on. I know that the wirling dervishes spin to the left, but this is different. It is about opening the energy vortices and this is how it is suggested.
Hi, I’m just wondering if you could tell me why you spin to the right only and not to the left? Thanks, Brian
When you’re spinning, are you looking at the hand or into the horizon?
great video! thanks toria & matt! you look great, we’re planning our delayed wedding trip to portugal; we sure have to meet you on the way coming through spain.
hugs!
@RawHealingPatch Hi Julie, I agree.. from what i’ve read and watched of the trial, he did seem to go too far.
It is an important lesson for worshop leaders & people holding retreats to take extra care to ensure the safety of the participants above all else. Toria x
@lukemur13 Hi Luke, the idea is to build up to doing 21 spins. So for the first week or so, just do do 5 spins and then the next week do 7 and then 12 etc. Just build it up slowly. The Five Tibetans are five postures to be done one after the other with breathing in between. Matthew is going to be showing one exercise per day. So when you have learnt the second one, you could do five spins of the first one, then breathing, and then 5 repetitions of the second exercise, breathing etc. Toria
just for clarification on the yoga move matthew – is the full exercise to to do 21 spins then the breathing? and how many sets of the 21 spins with breathing should we do?
yes, it is abslutely necessary to think critically for ourselves. we bring our own reality to us. that being said, when we have fasted for 3 days and are in altered states of consciousness, perhaps not able to make proper judgement calls, it is very dangerous to enter sweat. my sweat leader was on the trial for james and he always tells me safety is ALWAYS first for him. he is constantly assuring the saftey of others, knowing they are tired, hot, etc. complicated case with james!
The spinning yoga seems cool! 🙂
Did u know that this is a stabilizing technique in lucid dreaming?
Pretty awesome to ‘practice’ it in waking state also! xD
Great stuff! Thanks
