Warren Buffett Crushes Republicans On Taxes

Billionaire Warren Buffett hit back at mockery from high profile Republicans like Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie over Buffett’s stance that the rich should pay more in taxes, in part to reduce the massive budget deficit/national debt. Billionaire investor Warren Buffett, speaking to the Economic Club of Washington, said he believed the chances of a US recession were very low unless the euro zone crisis develops in ways that “spill over in the United States big time.” Buffett, speaking to Carlyle Group CEO David Rubenstein, said he favored a federal budget plan with revenues at 19% of GDP and spending at 21%. 1. The only sane way to get out of this mess is by raising taxes on all liberals and non-voters ( many who are the top1%) and cutting liberal social programs or ending them all together. PROBLEM SOLVED!

  2. Corporate tax should be lowered – since small companies cannot work around it. Spend the effort on covering the loop holes that the big guys use instead.

  3. I cannot understand how people do not see this. The thing I have the hardest to understand is Warren Buffet is the voice of the voiceless and is not ONLY being condemned by those who have money. You see poor & middle class citizens standing against the one person who feels YOU should not pay more than a millionaire or billionaire… That itself is what makes me facepalm thinking… you people must be morons of epic proportion to go AGAINST what is in YOUR best intrest.

  4. Anyone who has taken government understand the need for taxes to help the country fuction as a whole. If you read the very first few chapters you can understand why in our constitution there was a need for taxes and what it was BEFORE there was no tax mandate. The issue here is the top 1% don’t want to pay a fair share they want the middle class to bare the burden. Every and anyone who ever went to public schools is a product of taxpayer monies. The road you drive on is taxpayer monies.

  5. ain’t that the american way keep the poor poor , keep the middile class rich/poor, and I think we all know the last keep the rich RICHER smh n the higher society hate when u speak out u must keep your mouth closed n eran your weekly slave check lol ,but they can do that cause they have us “lower” class like a mice in a maze trap we as the people with no “voice” must come together a 1 cause remember this it willl always be more of us than them open yall eyes

  6. It’s clear that you are really just ignoring everything I say and repeating yourself so I’m just going to leave this alone now.

  7. he knows he owes it. he wants other people to pay more taxes. so he should shut his fat mouth and pay it, instead of having his lawyers fight it.

  8. I already told you, the IRS are working out exactly how much is owed. Warren Buffet does not owe this money, Berkshire Hathaway does. He doesn’t have complete control to do whatever he wants for the company, especially not paying unconfirmed amounts of tax. He isn’t fighting it, they’re going to pay it and they’ve done nothing illegal. You just seem intent on hurling abuse at this guy.

  9. That’s not correct. Recession is defined as a negative GDP growth rate in two (three?) consecutive quarters. Our GDP is growing slowly at 2% – well below the historical 4% we want, but it is not shrinking, so we are not in recession.

  10. so why doesn’t the fat, mouth fuck pay what he owes? I have to pay what I owe. he is dodging it because it is cheaper to pay lawyers millions to fight it, than to pay the government.

  11. Do you not realise the utter pointlessness of him paying more by himself? He wants everyone rich to pay more so it makes an actual difference. There is nothing hypocritical about that whatsoever. It would be hypocritical if the tax was implemented and he dodged it illegally but he hasn’t done that.

  12. stop being so pissed off. He thinks incredibly rich people should pay more taxes, why do you care? It’s not going to affect you. BH’s tax is being worked out by the IRS so they know how much it owes. That isn’t his tax, it’s the tax of the company he runs which is a separate entity under the law.

  13. why doesn’t he pay it instead of having his lawyers fight it. he thinks people should pay more taxes. then he should put his money were his fat, fuck mouth is.

  14. So Warren Buffetts net worth (according to wikipedia) is about 44 billion. So why don’t he pay up those 1.2 trillion dollars needed.

  15. It’s a real problem alright. It seems that almost nobody just wants to say “yeah I should actually take a hit” for the greater good. By the way I see the comment left by that scrubarultz person, don’t listen to that doomsday spiel. It’s a fringe opinion at best, not held by any person who knows what they’re talking about.

  16. It’s OK, young lady. It’s a volatile subject. My daughters are only few years younger than you, and I applaud you for even checking out vids like this instead of “Kids React” to pop culture garbage by the Fine Bros., or Annoying Orange. Stay focused, ignore the curses of some ignorant folks on these comments areas. Learn about our monetary system and why we are in a depression. Research the reasons why many are storing up food, water, etc. and pray the perilous times ahead are livable.

  17. Absolutely right. He supports the death culture espoused by Bill and Melinda Gates, Oprah Winfrey, The Brit Royalty, the Rothchilds, and all other global elite eugenicists. Satan’s gonna have a nice place for Warren to put his Ben and Jerry’s ice cream cone.

  18. See the animated short called “The American Dream” here on Youtube. It’s a great, entertaining history lesson on the monetary system. Explains it better than you or I could.

  19. thanks for answering!
and btw videos on your channel is amazing! you got another subscriber!

  20. I didn’t, but my guess is because he said:
    – Debt to GDP won’t grow
    – We should increase taxes
    - They mentioned the vampire squid
