This review is from: Twelve Pillars (Paperback)

Good. Self help book that looks explains by way of a story and how the character (who is down on his luck) reacts to these 12 pillars of wisdom (from a successful man) as they are imparted by the ‘gardener’ of the successful man. In the end the gardener was actually the successful man(predictably).
This is a good way of doing it. Book could deal more with the difficulties/successes the character encounters when implementing these 12 pillars of wisdom into his life and could relay the results back to the gardener. That would have made it a classic.
