  2. this is what ALL British people are actually like. we have lots of treasure & jousting.

  3. That thing will never go deeper than a few hundred feet, just look at the canopy, all submersibles have very small windows because if they were any larger, the structure will be comprimised.

  4. @IronicallyVague could be. I am curious about the global coordinates of his voyage, do u know the global coordinates of where he will be skimming around?

  5. @TheFarTravelled

No,Trump has the biggest ego..Branson actually has ideas and creates new innovations. While putting himself at risk.

  6. Some coments here are really funny, looks like all are experts. Whit all the money and techology they have you really think his sub is something cheap made from wood or what that it would be squezed? I mean really, check the animals living there and how they are made, if they thought something similar you dont need tons of steel to keep you safe. I would say go Richard, explore our oceans!

  7. ha, watch him have one of his chumps go down first. that sub couldn’t handle the pressure of the deep dark depths. no way jose!

  8. Uhh.. what kind of material is that sub’s chassis made out of? Is it unobtainium from Avatar? Seriously. There’s a reason we haven’t explored that far down the Mariana Trench.. and it’s not because of money. If I were him, I’d send a remote controlled one down first. Taking bets it squishes to 1/10 its size.

  9. @IronicallyVague well it’s a sub, let’s see if it will survive the dept, or will the dept squish it like a tin can with its massive psi. Well Branson is kind of crazy so..

  10. If anybody believes that this sub of his would survive to 36k depths, I’ve got a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you. I’d be shocked if that thing would even survive to 20k depths.

  11. @KungFuTroll He should use that money to lobby for small business and the middle class in america and other industrialized nations. The shear number of small businesses he could help start would surely give charity an amount that would far exceed anything he could match. In essence “feeding the poor”. It’s a step in the right direction I think.

  12. I hope his contraption is a success. I’ve always wondered what is down there in the deepest parts.
