This review is from: The Real Book of Real Estate (Paperback)

Having read various of Robert’s earlier books, I was really looking forward to this book. This is in light of being a property investor myself. What a big disappointment this was. There is not much information about residential property investments. If you are looking for tips about future market performance, dealing with non-paying tenants, how to make your property more easy to let or salable, etc this book is not for you. It is dealing with high-fluted investments (commercial property) that have no bearing in what most investors have an interest in. It is not a practical guide for everyday landlord issues, which is what I was hoping for.

This is a really smart audio book with some amazing stories and lessons to be learned. It is for the American market with some sections being very based in their legal real estate style. However, it still has some very relevant material and good strategies when dealing, purchasing or selling real estate.
