Zig Ziglar on thePMShow.tv tells Philippe Matthews about how his faith in Christ at the age of 45 transformed his speaking career, marriage and business. In spite of what his motivational speaking peers told him about bringing his new-found faith into his work he did. Fearless in his faith Zig has never turned back and has never had to solicit a speaking engagement since. Philippe Matthews has been called The Oprah of Internet by Mark Victor Hansen. He is the host of The PM Show TV and features the world’s best experts on How to have success in all areas of your life. They are sure to empower and educate you on how to bring about about the change you want in your life.
Zig means that “you did not succeed in that particular instance.” However, that does not make you a failure.
Another way to look at this is that “failure” really refers to a process. So we might refer to an “on-going failure activity.”
If the process is on-going, replace it with “on-going success.”
So “I am a failure” is packed with lots of wrong thinking. Rather, try saying “I am engaged in on-going success even if I don’t hit the mark every time.”
That is hardly “failure.”
Thanks so much! Zig Ziglar is one of my favorite persons.
